Meeting Alain way back when at his home, one would first hear, banging on the most unbreakable coffee table because Hockey night in Canada was on, or shouts of “sweep!” at the curlers who needed to give it their all like Alain always did with strength and gusto.
Except when he would polish his cars, that was done with tenderness and attention to detail. Cars were his joy and entertainment but his true love was for his wife, Sylvie and son and grew even more when Philip got married and the grandchildren arrived. He never ran out time, laughter or smiles for them. Tears are now felt when the wonderful memories come back to us finishing with a smile at how lucky we were to have him in our lives.
