Obituary of Nora Marjorie Zakhar

ZAKHAR, Nora Marjorie

March 3, 1920 – September 27, 2019 (nee Wildman, born in Peterborough, England)

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Nora in her 100^th year. Survived by her devoted and loving husband of 55 years, Julius Zakhar and their caring daughter Julie Chollet (Christophe).

Predeceased by her first husband and childhood sweetheart Deryck Wootton. Survived by their daughters Tamara Brown (David) and Beverly Wootton (Andrew). Loving grandmother of Gillian and Erica.

Nora was a creative soul, filling her life with travel, music, dancing, art and nature. She will be greatly missed.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Union Villa and the Palliative Care team at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, the Salvation Army, or Unionville Home Society.
