I had so many enjoyable visits with Irene at Willow and Eric's home - sitting out in the garden or having tea on the window seat in the living room and hearing stories about Norway and how she met her husband. Irene's fierce intelligence and warm and lovely wit made it such a pleasure to spend time with her. During a trip out for high tea with Irene and Willow I commented on how lovely and practical the china tea warmer candle holders in the restaurant were. Just a few days later Irene delivered one to me. Such a thoughtful and generous thing to do.. she will be so missed. My condolences to the entire Aagaard family and thank-you for allowing me to get to know her.
