It is with great sadness that the family of Larry Glen Milburn announce that his courageous battle with Alzheimers ended on Sunday, January 20th, 2019 at the age of 74.
Born in Peterborough, Ontario the devoted son of Harold and Ellen Milburn (predeceased). Loving husband to Carol (nee Bowler) for 49 years, devoted father to Justin (Lisa) and Brent (Melanie) and proud grandfather to Braeden, Cassidy, Michael and Jaymie.
Larry was a successful business executive in the automotive industry whose life revolved around spending time with family and friends. He had a passion for cars, boats, cottaging and skiing that he passed down to his two sons with great pride. He never missed a day full of activity whether it was running, skiing, cycling or playing baseball.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to his doctors, nurses and caregivers at Markham Stouffville Hospital and Chartwell Woodhaven Long Term Care Residence, especially Miriam Main for her support over the last year. Friends are invited to join his family at York Downs Golf and Country Club in Unionville on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 3:00pm for a Celebration of his Life. We will share some stories at 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
