So sorry for your loss Lisa and family. My memories of Carol are mostly from ages 10-16 and almost all involve her sense of humour. She wasn’t like “the other moms” - in a good way. She was probably the first mom I knew with a career and she always struck me as someone in control of her own life. I know her last few years were challenging, but she lived a full and interesting life and I know you will all miss her.
