We first met Floyd at Stouffville Creek Retirement Residence. It was wonderful
to get to know him and enjoy his company. He was loved and indeed a joy to all.

Sincere condolences from the staff at the W-S Museum. We learned so much from talking to Floyd about the early history of Stouffville. The Museum and future guests will appreciate the time that he and his family took to share their memories. And he gave amazing hugs too!
My condolences to his family and loved ones. I was a volunteer at the long term care woodhaven and have gotten to know floyd, I always sang him his favourite songs and always sat beside him to talk and keep him company. Floyd was such an inspiration to me and I truly hope he can rest well now. I will always remember him.

Floyd was a true gentle man. He cared about everyone, he always had a smile and a hug. At Lemonville United, he took as long going into church as leaving because he was busy making sure we all had a hug. We miss him, but I consider myself blessed to have known him.
Mr. Forsyth, as I knew him, was pretty generous. He let us use his small tractor with the 2 furrow plow for the York 4H plowing club. He would haul this gear around everywhere and never charged us a penny. He let me use it for the International Plowing Match 32 years ago.
My son and I now farm 180 acres of our own in Sudbury and I am grateful for Mr. Forsyth's constant encouragement. I have many fond memories .
