Obituary of Bruce Richardson Grubbe

Bruce Richardson Grubbe – 1947 – 2018

Bruce passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on July 26,  2018 He will be greatly missed by his best friend and wife Anne, his daughter Erin Butler (Jamie), grandchildren Quinn and Myles, and daughter Lindsay. Bruce will also be missed by his brother Phil (Debra), sisters Beverley Lamb (Rick) and Elizabeth Burns, and was loved by his many nieces and nephews.  Bruce had a successful career for over 30 years in the food industry and then found his passion in retirement, volunteering for TRCA, Parks Canada, Markham Stouffville Hospital and the Toronto Zoo.  A memorial service will be held at Grace Anglican Church, 19 Parkway Avenue, Markham on Wednesday, August 1^st at 2:30 p.m.  Family will meet with guests following the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gord Downie Fund For Brain Cancer Research will be appreciated.
