Dear Murial and Family: I was so sorry and sad to hear that Doug has passed away. I have fond memories of sitting at the kitchen table looking over the old Wideman Mennonite Memorials while overlooking the beautiful pastoral and peaceful old homestead farm and talking about Leonard Hoover etc. and all the contributions of the Byers and Hoovers to the Wideman Mennonite Meetinghouse community. Doug was a gentleman "driver" and of course he will be missed. This sad event forces us to carry on and keep looking up for the eternal day where resurrection and paradise will become a reality,FOREVER. Never Give Up Murial! Best Regards; Delmer B.
