Obituary of Glen Thomas Shevlin

SHEVLIN Glen Thomas –

Passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital on May 1 at the age of 58. Cherished husband to Patti (nee Douglas) for 24 loving years. Son of Betty and the late Tom Shevlin. Brother of Kenny and Donna (Rob Cook). Proud uncle of Brittany, Mikayla and Thomas. Glen was a long-time resident of Markham who attended Markham District High School and was a member of the Unionville Curling Club and the Governor General’s Horse Guards. Glen was a very popular employee of the Turf Crew at York Downs Golf and Country Club.  Family and friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street North (Markham Rd) Markham, on Monday May 7^th from 1pm until time of the service in the chapel at 2:30pm. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Oncology Clinic would be appreciated by the family.
