Patti,
I was very sorry to hear of Glen's passing. A couple of years ago I played with him in Mixed. We barely knew each other before that, but we connected quickly and I felt very comfortable. We played well together and had lots of laughs. One night in particular we played Mike Z's team, and I know we were both thinking it would be a tough game. Well it was one of those nights that Glen was on fire and we ended up taking the game easily (sorry Mike). Ever since then I always enjoyed seeing Glen at the club for a good chat and a laugh.
My deep condolences to you and your families.
Lean on us Patti, we are with you.
Love

On behalf of the Goveror General's Horse Guards I wish to send condolences from the rank and file of the Regiment. Many of Glen's colleagues and friends he served with are still serving or are members of the Regimental Association. I trained with him myself on basic training and served along side him for the duration of his military career. He was always jovial and postive, contributing his time and energy to training young soldiers as a Master-corporal. With your permission we will post his obituary in our annual journal. We will remember him.

I was saddened to hear that Glen has passed way. I was fortunate to play on Glen’s curling team a few years ago. It was one of the best years I had curling. Glen made the game fun for me and the team. I glad to have known him if only for a short time. Hurry Hard Glen. All the best to Glen’s family and friends

My deepest condolences to Patti and the entire Shevlin family. I first met Glen when I joined the Horse Guards in 1982, where he took it upon himself to toughen me up with many pushups. When I think back on that first year of meeting Glen I can't help but smile and even laugh. 'Shevlin' made a positive impact on my life which I've carried on through with me.
I know Heaven just welcomed a new Angel who is only ever a whisper away.
