It is with great sadness that we advise that Jim passed away suddenly of congestive heart failure on Jan 21, 2018, one day before his 51^st birthday.  Proud and loving father of his sons, Richard and Caiden, and loyal husband and life-long friend of Tish Conlin. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his mother and step-father, Bette & Ron Williamson and his father and step-mother, Richard & Jennifer Conlin, his brother Brent (Kerrie) and his nieces and nephew, Anabel, Beth and Bobby, his grandfather, Russ Beare, his uncle, Bob Conlin (Nora), his Aunt, Sandy James, his step brothers Kyle and Brett Williamson and his many cousins. He will also be deeply missed & remembered by his numerous life-long friends and by the many people he knew is his local community in Port Perry.

Jim was a successful dealer for General Motors for many years and was admired and respected by his staff.  Extremely intelligent, he was always the winner at Trivial Pursuit and most other strategy or memory games. He graduated from York University as an English graduate and was a gifted writer and had a beautiful singing voice. He had an incredible sense of humour and quick wit and was an amazing conversationalist as he had a rare in-depth knowledge of many topics and could always find the humour in life.  He enjoyed taking the boys to their hockey games every weekend and loved being at the cottage at Kasshabog Lake with his family.  As a child, he was an excellent hockey player and downhill skier which is a passion he enjoyed for most of his adult life as well.

After struggling many years with psoriatic arthritis, he is now out of pain.

Dixon Garland Funeral Home, Main Street Markham is handling the arrangements.  Visitation on Sat Jan 27, 2-4 and 7-9.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday Jan 28 at 11.00 at Dixon Garland Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Markham Stouffville Hospital or charity of

your choice would be appreciated.
