Obituary of Susanne Stanley-Novak

Susanne Stanley Novak March 2nd 1959 to July 7th 2013.. It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Susanne on July 7th Susanne was the beloved wife of almost 25 years to Stan Novak, mother to her 21 year old daughter Vanessa and 18 year old son Jason. In addition, she leaves behind her parents Reginald and Reidi Stanley, her sisters Heidi and Millie, her nieces Chantal, Emily and Chantelle and nephews Bryn, Karl, Dylan, Michael, Zachary and Connor. Susanne was very active in the Unionville community for many years serving as a board member for the Unionville Milliken Soccer Club, an Executive with the Markham Group of Artists and also participated in many school committees throughout the years until her health made it difficult to continue. Susanne still managed to find time for her passion of Painting which brought her personal joy and fulfillment. Susanne graduated from University of Waterloo and earned her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. Her career spanned many companies and roles with Peat Marwick, Xerox Canada, Thomas J Lipton - Unilever, Star Data and IBM. Most recently she was co-owner of Medaris Medical with her husband. Susanne lived a loving, rich and full life despite her challenges with breast cancer for the past 14 years. Her strength, courage and generosity touched everyone that knew her and she will be deeply missed by all. Donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
