Dear Jane, Kevin, Patty and Debbie
Our very deepest condolences to you and your families. We're so sorry that we were unable to make it to the Service on Wednesday. As you know, we became quite close to your mom while she was here in Bobcaygeon. We loved her sense of humour and her direct approach to virtually everything. We know how much you'll all miss her.
With love
Steve and Denise

My sincere condolences to the wonderful family of Joan (and Bill). I remember Joan as a truly caring, feisty woman, who I know has passed on these qualities to her beloved children and beyond. May your soul rest in peace, Joan.

I will always remember your mom during the many summers she would visit the cottage. She always had such a quick whit and a sense of fun that I would look forward to sitting and just sharing an hour or two ....often as we had a sundown cocktail. She was not afraid to share her opinions and would quietly raise an eyebrow in jest when expressing hee uncertainty with something. I loved how she could tease, laugh and just be with whatever. Regardless of it was an issue with a child, a cottage malfunction or her worries over that little bird she cared for so carefully in the bedroom. A woman of substance and heart who had been around a block or two. I am sorry she has left us but wish her the physical peace she has been so deserving for so long. Her integrity carries forward in her wonderful children. My condolences.
