Obituary of Florence Edwards

Edwards, Florence - (nee Mullins) Passed away peacefully while watching her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday October 4, 2017 at Sunrise of Unionville at the age of 93. Florence has now reunited with her loving husband Paul. Predeceased by her siblings Margaret and Bill. She will be deeply missed by her sister Agnes. Florence will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Her niece Gale will greatly miss their weekend adventures. Florence had a great love of gardening. She and Paul created peaceful gardens around their ravine home in Markham. Florence tended it lovingly after Paul's death 30 years ago. Everyone remarked on her beautiful home and award winning gardens.Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham on Tuesday October 10th from 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Parish, 5633 Hwy # 7 Markham on Wednesday at 10am Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
