Obituary of Lillian McCleverty

McCleverty, Lillian Elizabeth Caroline Mary- Passed away peacefully on August 13, 2017 at Aurora Resthaven Nursing Home in her 95th year. She is predeceased by her loving husband George, her siblings; George, Sally and Iris and also by her daughter Susan. Beloved mother of Linda and Sean. Proud grandmother of Justin (Bobbi), Ryan, Erin (Dustin), Shelby, Quinn and great-grandmother of Matthew, Michael, Jillian, Kyle, Prudence, Genivieve, Van and Gemma. Lillian was a long-time resident of the Markham area and was very involved with the community and with the church. Very outgoing, she loved to get to know new friends and was always there to lend a hand when someone needed it. Visitation will be held at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road), Markham on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment at Peaches Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
