Obituary of Marie Serpanchy

SERPANCHY, Marie - Passed away peacefully at the Markhaven Nursing Home on June 12, 2017 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Donovan. Loving mother of Christopher (Fatima), Paul (Joanna), Patrick (Rochelle), David (Suyakarn), Maryanne (Krishna), Susan (Mahendra) and Roseanne (Keith). Proud grandmother of Ian, Greg, Diane, Jonathon, Michael, Taine, Kiara, Kalahne and great grandmother of Jamila, Donovan, Azalea and Dahlia. Survived by her siblings Opal, Anne and Damien. She was predeceased by her siblings Hilary, Leon, Celeste, Roger and Joseph. She will be missed by her extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham on Wednesday, June 14 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Parish, 5633 Highway #7, Markham at 12 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
