Obituary of Ronald Pierce

RONALD WILLIAM PIERCE 1945-2017 Ron, of Markham, Ontario, tragically and unexpectedly passed away in hospital on May 16, 2017 shortly after receiving a diagnosis of leukemia. Ron is survived by his wife Gerry; son Gregg (Lesley Arnold); son Mark; sister Karen Spilling (Rob) and grandson Riley. Ron was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. A dedicated career IBMer, Ron also loved golfing, fishing, old-time music, hockey, the Blue Jays and dog walks with Basil. He was passionate about history with particular emphasis on British and World War II. At Ron's request, there will not be a funeral.
