Obituary of Richard Garland

Garland, Richard - Peacefully and comfortably at Oak Ridges Retirement Community on January, 20th, 2013 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Edith. Loving father of Janet (John Moore) and Wendy (Mark Suppelsa). Proud grandfather of Virginia and Erica. Survived by his brother Gus. A special thanks to all the staff at the Sunnybrook-Odette Cancer Centre. Friends will be received at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham, on Thursday, January 24th from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 1PM in the chapel. Reception to follow. Interment King City Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
