Obituary of H. Alvin Campbell

A student all the days of his life, Alvin was both cerebral and passionate about soccer, politics, academia, philosophy, language, and religion, as his voracious appetite for knowledge was able to take him on a journey from Grenada to Canada and back. Always one to cherish conversation and discussion, he was content in being close with friends and family, particularly sharing his love with his kids and grandkids. Towards his later years, the ability to combine his passion for philosophy with that of imparting knowledge in a classroom setting finally had him realizing his calling. So much so, that one could argue that it filled him to the point that even his health was secondary. Therefore, the footballer, philosopher, educator, coach, father, grandfather, and friend has moved onto a higher journey, likely soaking it up blissfully as he finally gets to see what all his 'thinking" has been about.
