MEYER, Steve- It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Steve on January 30, 2017 at the age of 57. Loving husband of Fanny for 34 years. Devoted Father of Christopher. Brother of Scott, Sloan & Sheri. Brother-in-Law of Bart, Bessie & Ted. Proud Uncle of Stacey, Barbara, Aaron, Courtney, Stephanie, Eric & Nicholas. Son-in-Law of Niki. Our family would like to extend a very special thank you to the Paramedics, Markham Stouffville Hospital, Markham Fire Department & the York Region Police 5 District Officers especially to Sergeant Chris Armstrong for his generosity, kindness & compassion. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Saturday, February 4 from 12 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
