Obituary of Carolyn Sutton

SUTTON, Carolyn Ann (nee Fabre) Passed away peacefully at home on January 29, 2017 surrounded by her family at the age of 76. She suffered from Huntington's disease for many years, however, she succumbed to Pancreatic cancer after a thankfully, brief period of time. Beloved wife to Larry for 50 years. She will be greatly missed by her children Stephen, Anne Norcia (Ron), Laura and her granddaughter Aimee. She is also survived by her mother Ann Fabre, her brothers Stephen (Myrtis) and Kenneth (Myrna), her sister Susan and her many nieces, nephews, in laws and friends. She was active in the community in many ways, including the Girl Guides of Canada, Markham Guild of Village Crafts, International Toastmasters Club and the Village Palettes. She was an artist of many talents and a caring friend to many. A special thanks to Dr. Lam, Dr. Patterson and the Palliative Care team at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Memorial visitation will take place at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huntington Society would be appreciated.
