Obituary of Rita Carroll

Carroll, Rita - Peacefully, on January 19, 2017 at Markham Stouffville Hospital at the age of 92. Rita is survived by her loving daughters and their families: Cathy, Peter Ott, daughters Elizabeth and Margaret; Janet, Ray Shepherd, children Logan and Colleen. Predeceased by her beloved husband Hugh (1998) and all her siblings. Many thanks to her many caregivers over the years, especially Rona (deceased), Andrea and Heather. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham on Sunday, January 22 from 3-6 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Parish, 5633 Hwy # 7 Markham on Monday, January 23 at 10 am. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to Share Life or Covenant House would be appreciated by the family.
