Obituary of Godfrey Osler

Godfrey Featherston (Fen) Osler Fen passed away after a short battle with illness on December 15 th , 2016. Fen was born in Toronto on August 24 th, 1941, son of the late Briton (B.B.) and Barbara Osler. A loyal, caring and sensitive gentleman, and at times a bit of a grump too, he was great lover of the Blue Jays, hunting and fishing, and took great pride in his 27 years of service to the Metropolitan Police Service Auxiliary. A passion for travel in his younger days led Fen to found a successful travel agency in 1974. Fen was very recently predeceased by his dear wife of 40 years, Claire, in September, with whom he will now be able to spend Christmas. He is survived by his son Patrick, daughter-in- law Erin, and grandsons Burke and Freddie, all of whom he was incredibly loving and proud. Fen leaves his two brothers, Glyn and Derek, his sister Pamela Delworth, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Toronto in the New Year.
