Obituary of Gwendolyn Probert

PROBERT, Gwen - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gwendolyn "Gwen" Lee Probert (nee Burch) on Monday, November 28, 2016 at the age of 74. Loving wife to Dave for 49 years. Beloved mother of Jim (Michelle) and Lee Anne (Tim). Proud and adoring grandmother of Nicholas, Nathan, Benjamin, Ryan and Rachel. Survived by her brother Robert (Ottilie). Predeceased by her parents, Ray and Dora, and sister Marion. She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews George (Moira), Laura, Robin (Dave), Alan (Lisa), Morven and Ian, and great-nieces and great-nephews Brendan, Melissa, Aiden and Kiera. She will be fondly remembered for her dedication to her family and for her loving, caring and giving nature. Family and friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road), Markham, Ontario on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 4:30 pm. Reception to follow.
