Dear Gag. Yesterday, for the first time in 28 years I came to the house and you weren't there to greet me with a "Brendan!" or a "Hi Lovey!" and a big hug. I already miss you so much. You are so special to us and as much as it hurts that you are no longer here, I'm so grateful to have had you in my life all these years. You were one of a kind. Over the years I've always found myself reflecting on the time we've spent together, and will even more now. These memories you have given me always bring a smile to my face. You really knew how to make me laugh, we always had fun when we'd visit with each other. I feel such a tremendous loss but also so lucky to have had someone like you in my life who loved me and cared for me the way only a grandmother could. We will never stop missing you and will always celebrate who you were to us. Thank you so much for being my Gaggy. Our Gag. I love you. Your grandson, Brendan.

You Vansicles have taken me in over the years as another son. I truly feel the love you each have for one another. The home you have built on sacrificial love is glorious and a testimony of what true love is. Thank you for teaching us all. Gag will be missed deeply. Microwaved tea, chocolate robbing, and staying up later than the teenagers, she was one of a kind! I pray for your family often. Peace be with each of you. Jonathan

My Little Gaggy-bum. It doesn't seem real to me that you are no longer here with us physically. But I feel you with me now, and I will carry you with me always. In moments of fear, I will think of your courage. I will let it guide my path and strengthen my decisions. In those moments of sorrow, I will think of your unconditional love and devotion. I will think of your quick wit, your laughter, your stubbornness, and allow them each individually bring a smile back to my face. And in moments of joy, those moments of pure happiness and bliss - I will think of you. And I will share each and every one of those moments with you, just as you have shared your life with me. Thank you for being the coolest grandma ever. I love that you loved watching sports more than anything in the world and would tell people the score of whichever game you were watching when they'd call the house. Chanting louder than my parents when the Leafs and Jays were on. You were their biggest fan!! You were such a worry-wart always concerned if I had eaten dinner or if I was warm enough before leaving the house. You'd nuke your tea at a perfect 1:20, loved your tomato sammy's, Kit-Katz, and your chocolate chip cookies. You're one of a kind little hobbit lady!!! Thank you for blessing me with memories that will last my entire lifetime. We celebrated you today and it was so special Gag. Looking through old photos and telling stories. Everyone smiling, and laughing. Our hearts are so full. I miss you terribly. I'll be loving you always. Your Kelwel.

Aunt Eil. I was shocked and sad to hear of your sudden passing. I have you to be thankful for helping Ali to come to Canada. If it weren't for you I wouldn't have this beautiful little family of my own. Im glad you made the effort to come to our wedding and especially thankful that it gave you and Alison some much needed sister time. I will never forget the shenanigans, the endless cups of tea, the laughter and your silly alter egos "Pinky and Perky". You will be so missed. My deepest condolences to Rick, Nancy and the rest of the family. I love you all. xo
