Obituary of John Leighton

Ken Leighton was born on April 28, 1938 in toronto, Ontario. While vacationing in Acapulco in 1964, Ken met the young and beautiful Minerva Cardoso. It was love at first sight and Ken refused to leave Acapulco until Minerva became his wife... which she did eight weeks later. They were blessed with two sons John and Edward. Ken and his sons had a beautiful relationship. They described him as a very devoted father, a hard worker, good provider and best friend. His grandchildren, Elyse and Cameron have said they loved everything about him and that he is kind and funny. Minerva described him as a true romantic. Anyone who has met Ken and spent time with him knows he has an amazing sense of humour. Ken loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends and enjoying a good laugh. We will always hold our dear memories of Ken in our hearts. We will miss you ACA Ken
