Obituary of John Carter

Carter, John "Jack" (Long-time resident of Ballantrae) Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on October 29th, 2016 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Marjorie (nee Cowan) for 50 years. Loving dad of Ann (Bernie) Bourgeois and Susan (Kevin) Dupuis. Proud papa of Michael, Rebecca, Madeleine, Abby and Grace. Survived by his sister Marie (Lloyd) Seebeck. Friends will be received at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham on Wednesday, November 2nd from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Reception will follow. Private family interment at Baker Hill Cemetery, Stouffville. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
