Thompson, Mary Jane - With much sadness the family announced the sudden passing of Mary Jane Thompson. On October 6, 2016 peacefully at her home at Amica at Swan Lake. Beloved wife of the late Douglas Hilliard Thompson. Loving mother and mother-in law of Lynne and Bob Campkin and Doug and Donna Thompson. Devoted grandmother of Corey, Sean, Christopher, Grant and Rebecca. Dear sister and sister in law of the late Clifford (Tip) and Billie Richardson and John and Diane Richardson. Friends will be received at the Dixon Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N, (Markham Road) Markham, on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 12:30 p.m. Donations in Mary's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Markham Stouffville Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Society.
