Sandre was such a remarkable person – she was fun, energetic, kind and an inspiration to us all. When I was secretary at Unionville P.S. Sandre's school was close by and we would attend workshops together. Being with Sandre was lots of fun. There are those special people in the world who make you feel like you have known them forever after just a few minutes. Sandra was one of those people. The beautiful, bright, welcoming and warm centre of any gathering, always ready for a good chuckle, often at her own expense. I have not been able to spend much time with Sandre in the years since moving to Calgary but she is vivid in my mind and always will be. Sandre knew what mattered in life - that was clear in how she lived. I know my parents have difficulty picturing their world without Sandre in it.
