Obituary of Hendrick Van Dalen

Van Dalen, Hendrick "Hank" January 5, 1939 - September 23, 2016 of Unionville (Formerly of Milton) After a three year battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Beloved husband of Jackie (nee Bristow) for 52 years. Loving father of Laurie and Rick (Lynn) and opa to Kayley. Survived by siblings Marjorie Bylsma (Ken), Ralph (Dianne), and Alice all of Kitchener Waterloo. Brother-in-law of Gloria Morton (Ralph) of Burlington, Don Bristow (Carol) of Owen Sound and Muriel Strba (John) of Kingston. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held at Markham Missionary Church, 5438 Major Mackenzie Drive E. Markham on Thursday at 11am. Private family interment at Milton Evergreen Cemetery.
