Ellis, Douglas "Doug" Paul. Gently at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Sunday, September 4th, 2016. Beloved husband of Evelyn. Loving father of Wendy Brodkin, Brenda (Paul Gentles) and David (Emmy). Proud grandpa of Andrew and Christopher Brodkin, Michael (Deanna), Tahnee (Derek) and Matthew Gentles and David Ellis. Predeceased by his parents Elwood and Marjorie Ellis. Lovingly remembered by his mother in law Ollie. Thank you to all the caring staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Friends will be received at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main St. North, (Markham Rd.) Markham on Sunday, September 18th, 2016 from 1pm until time of service at 2pm in chapel. Reception will follow. Private family interment at St. Philips on the Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation made to Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
