Dearest Whitham Family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. It has caused me to think back to all those years that we spent with you as our neighbours on the 10th line, growing up together, spending time at each others houses. Those were great days - so many great memories. I think that a highlight would be spending time at your cottage in the summer - trying to swim to elephant island, I don't think I ever did make it. I also smile when I think about your mom telling us her name was "Pearly Sarkinson" instead of Shirley Parkinson. Your mother was a very special lady, we are very privileged to have had her as part of our lives. Because of the miles we cannot be with you but our love and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
