Obituary of Irene Matten

MATTEN, Irene Joan (nee Kisiel) January 4, 1925 - August 11, 2016 It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Irene at Greenview Lodge, Toronto on August 11, 2016 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her beloved husband Eugene Matten. Loving mother of Paul Matten (Pamela) and Christine Robertson (Matthew, deceased). Irene was a kind and generous grandmother to Christopher, Stephanie, Matthew, Jaime, Caitlin and Emily and great-grandmother of Ellah, Sabastien, Zachary and Lucas. Dear aunt of Ala and Tom. She was loved by all of her family and will be missed and fondly remembered. There is no visitation by request. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic Parish, 3220 Bayview Avenue Toronto, North of Finch Avenue, on Wednesday August 24, 2016 at 10:30 am. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME.
