Obituary of Bernard Blanchard

BLANCHARD, Bernard Joseph Peter September 29, 1955 to July 15, 2016 Passed peacefully at home on July 15, 2016 in his 61st year. Survived by his adoring big sister, Marie Louise Blanchard, and his devoted niece, Barbara Ann White (née Blanchard). Uncle to Mark (Christine) Upton and great-uncle to Andrew and Katherine. Dear friend to Gary Vass and all creatures great and small. Predeceased by his mother, Marguerite Marie Blanchard (née Parent), his father, Ernest Jerome Blanchard, and his brother, Ernest Paul Blanchard. Sincere thanks to Dr. Lou Pliamm. Bernie was cremated as per his wishes. Committal of his ashes and a memorial service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, 8361 Yonge St., Thornhill on Saturday, October 22nd at 10:30 am. Reception to follow at Holy Cross Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sick Children's Hospital or any animal welfare organization.
