We are very sorry to hear of the passing of John. He was a very dear friend of my father and mother Ed and Mary Smith for many years. I had just seen him a few weeks ago at a function at the Uxbridge Legion. I'm glad I took the time to have a short visit with him and listen to his stories of the times he spent with my Dad. John was a true friend whose kindly spirit pervaded all areas that hosted his presence. He seemed to know just about everyone and just about everyone knew him. He was a story-teller unlike anyone we ever knew. There's no replacing the John Taylors' of this world. He will be sorely missed especially by the gang at Stouffville's Tim Hortons. Gone but never forgotten.
