Obituary of Chantale McLean

MCLEAN Chantale (Nee: DUFOUR) On Wednesday, May 18 2016, Chantale McLean, wife, daughter and sister passed away at the age of 51 years old after a courageous battle with cancer. Chantale was born in Sudbury, ON and predeceased by her father, Léonard Dufour and mother-in-law Joan McLean. Chantale will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend, Ken, by her mother Huguette Dufour, and by her brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews: Nicole (George) Alexakis (Christina and Edgar, Angela, Louisa and Trevor, Melissa and Marc); Gilles (Marie) Dufour (Sarah and Ed, Jennifer and Marc); Carole Kalomiris (Brad Baker) (Nathalie and Dave, Nicholas and Coralee, Johnny and Julie, Maria and Phu Ly, Louisa and Peter); Alain Dufour (Hala Ibrahim) (Justin); Lise (Brian) Gallant (Corey and Zukhra, Danielle), Danielle (Robert) Jackson (Cody, Jennifer and Robert). Also missed by her father-in-law, Don McLean, Amanda McLean, sister in-law, Christine (Gilles) Gingras (Jason, Shawn and predeceased by Cory) and brother in-law Ron McLean (Donna White) and predeceased by Perry Hoppins (Crystal, Cassie). Chantale will also be forever remembered by her numerous friends and extended family. Chantale was a 20-year member of the United Steelworkers Union. A Funeral Service in memory of Chantale will be held on Saturday, 3:00 P.M., May 21 2016, at the Chapel of St-Joseph, Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East (Bayview Avenue and Highway 407), Thornhill, ON.
