It's hard to believe we've only known Jo since 2009 when he jumped into the Miataphiles club with both feet. It was always great to see him out at weekly meets, track days, tours, and tech days. He was generous with his time and expertise, and his loss in the club will be sorely felt. We are better for having known him, and extend our condolences to family and friends. Wendy & Gary
Cath and Casey, My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. I will always remember the pyjama-clad Christmases I got to spend with all of you and the chats that Jo and I had in the car on the way up to Markham. Go in peace Jo.
There are so many stories to recount...
On one occasion, Jo came with us for a drive, and we spotted a house that had a turret that looked like a castle. Jo remarked on it, and Rita said, "that house is for Me, because I am a princess".
Well, Jo laughed a belly laugh, like I haven't heard from him in a long while.
We all laughed.

Our thoughts are with you at this time. Jo was such a treasure. My personal contacts were always interesting and thought provoking. His mechanical creativity was immense. His sense of humour was great. We remember the time he showed up for a Miataphiles tour with his father's boxter with MX 5 emblazoned on the hood. With out doubt the Miataphiles will be poorer in the future with his passing.

Helpless though we are when a tragedy like this happens, we hope that neuroscience will keep advancing to the point where there are interventions to help a person in so much sorrow find their way back to the light. We will miss Jo.
