Obituary of John Hamilton

Hamilton, John Ivan. Peacefully at Markham-Stouffville Hospital on April 14th, 2016 in his 88th year. Loving husband of Alice (nee Percy) for 57 years. Proud father of Bryan (the late Vivian), Kenneth (Tracy), Kevin (Brenda), Brent, Darryl, David, Marilyn (John) and Marguerita (Peter). Cherished grandpa of 13 grandchildren. Survived by his sister's Beula Duncan and Kay Wagg. Pre-deceased by his brother's Ray and Ronald. Friends will be received on Saturday from 7-9:30 at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home 166 Main St. North (Markham Rd.) Markham. Funeral service will be held at East Ridge Church (12485 Tenth Line, Stouffville L4A 7X3) on Sunday, April 17th from 1PM until time of service at 2PM. Reception will follow. Burial Brougham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Markham-Stouffville Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
