Obituary of Mona Easton

Easton, Mona Ruth - Passed away peacefully on December 31, 2012 at the age of 73. She will be sadly missed by her brother William, sister-in-law Sharon and her three nieces Megan, Melissa and Kathleen and their families. Mona had a special network of dear friends who supported her in her work, personal life, and more recently in her struggle with chronic illness. Mona's love of books led her to a career as a librarian, specializing in children's literature. She used her creative and artistic talents to add an extra dimension to story-telling for children. Prior to retirement she was manager of the Children's Department of the North York Central Library. Many thanks to the kind and caring staff at McCowan Retirement Residence. The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship and refreshments on Saturday, January 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, Ontario.
