Dear Ian, Alan and Neil: I was very saddened when Mom told me that her dear friend Edna had passed, but I was also reminded of my childhood and all the adventures and good times that are 2 families shared. Skating on the road or on the ice rink that our fathers made in the court, swinging on the swings and playing ball at the IBM country club, all those Saturday night parties held for friends and neighbours in our basement(rec rooms) and of course all the arguments between 3 boys and 3 girls. Despite it all our mothers remained friends for many years over distance and all life's changes. My heart goes out to you all at this time and your families. I know from what my mom tells me that your Mom treasured all of you. Sorry that we can't be at the service due to distance and health issues, but know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
