Obituary of Petronella Hill

HILL, Petronella (Pat) R.N. nee van Esch- Passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital on December 17, 2015 after a brief illness, at the age of 67. Beloved wife of Charles for 45 years. Devoted mother of Frank (Rui) and Bradd (Stefanie). Loving Oma of Matthew, Mark, Grace and Natalie. Cherished sister of Bill (Barbara), Frances, Peter (Gayle), James (Joanne), Ann-Marie (Douglas Noyes) and Alphonse (Donna). Predeceased by her parents Peter and Johanna van Esch and brother Joseph. Dedicated Registered Nurse for 28 years. A caring person who raised her brothers and sisters after her mother passed. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and colleagues. Great appreciation to the caring and kind staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Visitation will be held at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday, December 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Parish, 5633 Highway 7, on Tuesday, December 22 at 10 am. Interment Christ the King Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.
