Obituary of Wayne Halliday

Halliday, Wayne Joseph March 10, 1951 - December 13, 2015- Passed away peacefully surrounded by all his family at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Loving husband and best friend of Dianne (predeceased), devoted and fun-loving dad of Laurian and Lesley. Cherished son of Madonna and Guy (predeceased) Halliday. Dear son-in-law of Bill and Joanne. Brother of Debbie and Mike, Guy and Natalie, Barb and Wilfred, Betty and Kirk, Glenda and Greg, Bill; Sharon, Yvonne, Barry and Donna (predeceased). Special uncle to 17 nieces and nephews. Extraordinary friend to many. Wayne's sense of humour and kindness will be terribly missed. Family and friends will be received at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, Ontario (905-294-2030), for visitation on Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 11 am. Refreshments to follow. Donations to your favourite charity are welcome in lieu of flowers.
