WRIDE, Carl James - Peacefully on November 25, 2015 at Southlake Regional Health Centre, with family at his side. Born in Harrow, Ontario. Loving husband of Eleanor for 52 years. Devoted father of Brian Wride (Barb) and Lois Wride (Phil Johnson). Proud Grandpa of Davis, Addison, Carter and Fiona. Son of the late Leonard and Beth Wride and son-in-law of the late Allan and Effie Aitken. Brother of Jean McCarron (Don, d.), Robert Wride, d. (Mary, d.), Rose Neff (Peter), Glenn Wride, d. (Ann), and Cara Wilkie (Doug, d.). Brother-in-law of Eileen Thornton, d. (Allan, d.), Ellis Aitken (Fern), Beverly Aitken, and Carol Thornton. Visitation will be held at DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road), Markham on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service to be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 143 Main Street N. on Sunday at 2 p.m. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the ICU staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Southlake Regional Health Centre or St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Markham.
