I miss Frank Hogan. I worked as his Music Director for many years when he was pastor of St. Andrew's Church and he was the true example of a giving and caring man. Those hospital calls he was so faithful about, his late night exercising jogs on the sidewalks of Rexdale and those long discussions we'd have at the dinner table - great memories. I was there prior to his time and following his time - he was missed by many. God bless his faithful servant. Rest in peace my friend.

Sorry to hear of Francis's passing, he was our pastor at St. Andrews Parish. We loved his homilies and his little blue bag was something we always looked forward to on Sunday. We use his homilies to judge other priests. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, may he rest in peace.

We were very saddened to hear of the passing of Francis Hogan and would like to extend our condolences to his family. Forty years ago we were very blessed to be married by him at St. Andrews church in Rexdale. Being a marriage of mixed faiths he always showed us compassion and gave us wonderful counsel. While seeing him for our sessions it was always more like talking to a friend and we looked forward to our visits. His smile and quick jokes made it a pleasure rather than a burden. After all these years we still think of him with great affection and admiration. God bless you all and may he rest in peace.

I was so saddened to hear of Frank's death. I am very proud to have served under Frank's pastoral leadership at St. Andrew's Parish in Rexdale, when I was first ordained (1973-1978). His generous, gentle and humble ministry was a superb training ground for a young priest. After 40 years I still look back on those joyous years as being most formative in all that I do today in my own pastoral ministry. I will always give thanks for the memories and experiences we shared over those 5 years. Frank has left a legacy for all of us, that will never be forgotten. To Marie and the family, be assured of my prayerful support. Fr. Andy Macbeth ST. Margaret of Scotland Parish 222 Ridley Blvd. Toronto, Ontario M5M 3M6

Father Andy, I was lucky enough to grow up in Rexdale and have such great mentors. I served mass as an altar boy for many years under Father Hogan and yourself. A privelege. For a kid who grew up in Ontario housing, I wouldn't be where I am today without the direction of my parents and the Catholic support network at St. Andrews Church and school, St. Dorothy's School and Henry Carr S.S.
Father Hogan was a larger than life character who had a lasting impression on everyone who met him.

To Marie and family, we love Frank. He always had a wise word and a big smile. Frank supported Duane and I and our family always asking about our two daughters Olivia and Liza. He leaves a legacy of love and compassion. Duane and the girls and I are privileged to have called Frank a friend. Thank you Marie and Rebecca for sharing your Frank with us.
