One memory of Jean that was shared with me was a business trip that Al and his boss at the time took to Vancouver. Jean had never been to the west coast so Al bought her an economy ticket. Meanwhile, Al and his boss had Business Class tickets courtesy of ESSO. As they got on the plane, Jean exchanged tickets with Al and sent him to the back of the plane. Al's boss spent five delightful hours together with Jean while Al sat beside some screaming kid. She was such a pistol.
