Obituary of Douglas Sargent

SARGENT, Douglas "Sarge" Passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Sandra. Loving father of Sandy (Ron), Stephen and Stephanie. Proud grandfather of Ryan, Michele, Kyle, Kyrsten, Robert and Samantha. Predeceased by his son Richard. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Doug served 38 years with the North York Fire Department retiring with the rank of District Chief. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto Fire Fighters Toy Drive.
