Obituary of John Walton

WALTON, John Albert (Jack) - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Markham Stouffville Hospital on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the age of 94. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret. Beloved father of Cheryl (Philip Unger), Lynne(Chuck Honeyman), Ken Walton (Carol) and Keith Walton (Jo). Proud grandfather of Philip, Shannon, Marnie, Krissy, Cory, Jennifer, Kyle, Jessica, Luke, Kayla and great grandfather of Davyn and Jackson. Survived by his adored sister Helen. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Visitation will be held at the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road) Markham, on Monday, August 17 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday at 11am in the Chapel. Reception will follow. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to C.N.I.B.
