To my special "boy cousins" (my only cousins) Brian, Ron, Kenneth, Glen and John and all their families - our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Auntie Dorothy had a smile that could fill the room. As long as she was surrounded by family, friends and food (especially chocolate) she had a smile on her face. She was blessed to have such a loving family who made her feel like royalty much of the time. I always thought of her as being such a "lady" and she always made me feel like I was a special lady as well. I think this might be her legacy as she made everyone around her feel like they were special. May she rest peacefully and suffer no more. Love and hugs to all my cousin families. Sorry we can't be with you today as you celebrate her life.

For the family please accept our sincerest condolences. For Brian, Ron, Glen, Kenneth and John and all your families take solace in the fact that Auntie Dorothy had a long life that could not have been better lived. What I will remember is her sharp wit (had to living with Uncle Art and five boys), excellent sense of humour (again an asset living with Uncle Art and five boys) and her ability to sneeze and wake the dead, literally. Our thoughts will be with you tomorrow and forever in the future.

I have been blessed and privileged to know the wonderful Dorothy when I started volunteering as a friendly visitor at Wyndham Gardens in 2010. It started with the regular Wednesday coffee hour and I got to know many of the lovely seniors sharing residence with the beloved Dorothy. This little group became the "Seniors Girlfriend Club" consisting of Verna Folkkes (who sadly passed away in Sept. 2013), Charlotte Nebel, the lovely Dorothy and myself the "junior senior" of the group. We had many occasions for lunch & tea parties, birthday celebrations and Christmas feasts. For me, Dorothy was my very special senior lady at Wyndham and I loved our chats and Dorothy's stories of her long lived life. Wyndham Gardens and especially the beloved Dorothy was my refuge and sounding board as I lived through my husband's long ICU stay, recovery and sad passing on May 29th, 2014. Dorothy was always there for me and I loved her bubbly, girlish laughter, her infectious smile and wonderful positive attitude. She always saw the positive and very rarely complained. I feel she was a true ray of sunshine to everyone she encountered. So I can only imagine the incredible love she gave to her sons and all their families, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. And I heard it was a huge Relph clan and how blessed you all were to have such a kind and compassionate matriarch of the family Relph. My heart goes out to all of you in your loss. I loved Dorothy and she will forever have a very special place in my heart. She will be forever missed, always loved and never forgotten.

Tribute although it may seem trite to the best Mom anyone could have. You lived 97 years through two World Wars and the Great Depression and not once did your believe or faith in Your Lord waver. You were selfless in bringing up five boys and instilled in them the hard working ethic that is missing in many in these entitled times You walked the talk, played the piano and organ proudly at Moringside Gospel Church and fervently believed that giving your life to the Lord was reward in itself. You wanted for nothing other than your boys to do well and you encouraged and showed them well. You were an inspiration to anyone you came in touch with from Vacation Bible School to life's end at Amica at Swan Lake See you further on up the road Your third in number only son
