Obituary of David Stonehouse

David Howard Stonehouse The family is devastated to announce Dave's sudden passing on Friday June 26th, at the age of 68. Dave resided in Mount Albert, but was formerly a long time Markham resident and was well known as the owner of Wellington Way Stereo. Loving husband and best friend of Peggy (nee Scaysbrook), beloved father of Craig and his wife Tanya of Markham, Andrea of Mount Albert and proud and devoted Papa to Matthew. Dear brother of Myrna Hunter (Larry), Irene Canavan (Jim), Lori Stonehouse and dear brother in law of Craig and Sue Scaysbrook. He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Lorna and Howard. Dave faced many serious health issues over the past 23 years with bravery and determination. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be at Dixon Garland Funeral Home in Markham on Monday, July 13 from 7:00-9:00, and Tuesday July 14th from 11:00 - 12:00, followed by a memorial service in the chapel. Private interment at Highland Memory Gardens in North York. In lieu of flowers, please honour Dave's memory with donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, or Mackenzie Health Foundation.
