Hi Terry,Leanna and Patrick: So sorry to hear about your dear Father and Grandfather. We have many, many fond memories of our time skating and socializing with Maurice. He kept the Scarborough Adult Skating Club going years before we had to declare bankruptcy, he made countless wood items which we sold to members. The doll-house he made was amazing! We have several of these items in our home and we think about Maurice and his contributions to all of us often. We enjoyed the East York Concert Band playing for us for many years, we could't afford it as often as we enjoyed it, but due to the efforts Maurice made to get sponsors we have many happy memories of skating to the band. I'll never forget singing OH CANADA on the ice all of us skaters gathered around as the band played. You can be very proud of him, he made a difference to many lives.
